Armida is a Hong Kong dive-watch brand whose watches are produced in Hong Kong and shipped from there, numbered rather than named from the A1 to the A11 and fitted with Swiss ETA or Japanese Seiko and Miyota movements. Reviewing the A2 in 2012, aBlogtoWatch noted that Armida used Fullswing for manufacturing, as Helson does, and credited the founders for being open about it. The maker says every new model is tested underwater before production. Bronze came with the 45 mm A1, a 1,000 m diver under a sapphire crystal domed so high that, by Worn & Wound's account, the case stood 19 mm tall; its 2012 launch report described the bronze version as machined from marine-grade CuSn8 with an oversized titanium crown at four. That bronze A1 has since left the range. Brass now fills the role in the A8, a 42 mm diver that Armida sells with two interchangeable bezels and expects to patina with wear, without naming the alloy.
