Found something wrong? Tell us. The catalog is only useful if it is accurate, and a reader who owns the watch often knows something the maker's page does not say.
How to report an error
Email tifg@titaniumfieldguide.com, or use the report-an-error link at the foot of any watch page, which fills in the reference for you. Say what is wrong and, where you can, link the maker's own page or another primary source. A photograph of an engraved caseback is especially useful, since a maker's own engraving outranks a spec table somebody typed into a website.
How a correction is handled
Every claim is checked against the maker's own specification before it changes. A material or grade correction is re-verified against the same inclusion standard the whole catalog is held to, set out on the methodology page. Prices and availability are confirmed against the maker's live listing. Where the maker's page and physical evidence disagree, both are weighed rather than one being taken on faith.
What every entry already shows
Each watch page shows the source it was verified against, the date of that check, and a confidence grade, so you can judge a claim before you rely on it. An entry that is not fully confirmed says so. A discontinued reference is kept and marked rather than deleted, so a correction to an archived watch is as welcome as one to a current model.
