The Titanium Field Guide

Catalog data and freshness

The guide is a working dataset, not a static list. Every entry is verified against the maker or a primary source and carries the date it was last checked. This page shows the catalog's current shape, what is well covered and what is still thin, and how it stays current. Last rebuilt 2026-09-21.

Coverage

Specs are filled from the maker's own page or a primary-equivalent hands-on, never guessed. Where a figure is not published we leave it blank rather than invent it, so these bars are honest floors, not targets. The two largest structural gaps, case weight and grade confidence, are exactly where makers publish least (haute horlogerie rarely states case weight; many brands confirm titanium but never a grade token).

How it stays current

The site rebuilds on every change, and a set of scheduled jobs re-checks the catalog on rotation so nothing silently goes stale:

Every change still goes through review before it publishes; nothing is auto-merged. Read the full breakdown of the market in The State of Titanium Watches 2026.

Confidence

778 entries are high confidence (49%), confirmed against the maker or a primary source; 822 are medium. The medium pool is large by design: many makers (including several maisons and most microbrands) confirm titanium but never publish an exact grade token, so those entries stay honestly medium rather than being padded to look more certain than the sourcing supports.
