Sangin Instruments was co-founded in 2017 by Jacob Servantes, a Marine Raider, and takes its name from the Sangin district of Afghanistan's Helmand province, where his team spent much of a deployment. Watches of Espionage tells how Bill Yao of MKII helped with the first prototype and how a pre-sale paid for the opening batch of 250 Kinetics. The watches are designed around military and service wearers, and some colourways are sold only to buyers who can show they passed a special-forces selection course or serve as first responders. The Kinetic II Ti carries the deepest rating in the range, 1,000 m, in a 44 mm Grade 2 titanium case with a soft-iron shield around its La Joux-Perret G100. The Titan goes the other way, wrapping a titanium core in forged carbon so that a 500 m diver weighs 57 g without its strap.

What the catalog shows about Sangin Instruments
It publishes a case weight for 67 percent of its references, against 31 percent across the catalog, which is unusually open given that weight is the spec makers disclose least.
Derived from the 3 references below, recomputed on every update, and printed only where a measurement stands apart from the rest of the catalog.
