Nautilo Bronze Blue

Anonimo was founded in Florence in 1997, the year Richemont bought Panerai, and Monochrome traces it to former Panerai staff who stayed in the city when that brand moved to Switzerland. The maker says it made its name among the professional divers of the C.N.S. cooperative, and its Militare line uses a patented crown-protection mechanism set between the lugs at 12 o'clock. Dino Zei, a military engineer who Monochrome notes had run Panerai for more than 25 years, joined permanently in 2003 and developed the Nautilo, bronze included, and Anonimo describes itself as the first brand to market a bronze dive watch. The company stayed wholly Florentine until 2013, when it moved its headquarters to Switzerland, now Le Locle, and took up the Swiss Made label; Monochrome reported in 2016 that the cases were still made by Florentine craftsmen. The more refined Epurato line arrived in 2018, and its bronze version is described only as nautical bronze, with no alloy named.

What the catalog shows about Anonimo

It states a standard alloy grade on none of its titanium references, against 45 percent across the catalog, so the alloy behind its titanium is rarely if ever named.

Derived from the 4 references below, recomputed on every update, and printed only where a measurement stands apart from the rest of the catalog.
