Emporio Armani is a line of Giorgio Armani S.p.A., the Milan fashion house that Giorgio Armani and Sergio Galeotti founded in 1975. The group launched Emporio Armani in 1981 and gave it a watch line in 1997, and those watches are made under licence: Fossil Group of Richardson, Texas holds the multi-year, worldwide exclusive licence to make and distribute them, and Fossil's annual report for 2025 names Emporio Armani among its main licensed brands. The ceramic models are quartz chronographs whose case and link bracelet are both ceramic. Armani's own store describes its current black version as a 43 mm chronograph made entirely of black ceramic with rose-gold-tone accents, running a Japanese quartz movement and rated to 5 ATM, and files it among its fashion watches. The label names the material only as ceramic and gives no type or hardness for it.

What the catalog shows about Emporio Armani

It leans heavily on quartz and solar, 100 percent of these references against 29 percent across the catalog. A $365 median puts it among the more affordable makers here, against $1,837 across the catalog. It states a standard alloy grade on none of its titanium references, against 45 percent across the catalog, so the alloy behind its titanium is rarely if ever named.
