AndoAndoAndo Luckyshroom x Ando Series V2 Balance in Contrast

AndoAndoAndo, founded by the Japanese-Finnish designer Yu Ando, machines titanium cases around Casio digital modules, and Series V2 is its second collaboration with Luckyshroom, the Swiss-Australian designer behind the Flathead. It is six pieces in three expressions, each case pattern hand-drawn, scanned and laser-engraved into the titanium: NAMI NAMI with traditional waves on a blue display, KAIMON reworking the wave as a woven geometric on green, and IN'EI, an inverted mirrored cross that shows only as the watch moves, on black. The caseback carries a dark flathead and a light koi circling each other in a yin-yang inside a blue oval for the world, over the words World Time in Japanese. The case is 33 mm wide and 8.3 mm thick under sapphire, with the Casio 3572 world-time module, rated to about three years on a battery.
