Papar Cenote

Papar is a young American brand whose watches are angular to the point of brutalism, and the Cenote is its dive watch, taking the edgy case of its Anillo GMT and making it larger and water resistant to 200 m. The case is Grade 2 titanium, 40 mm across, only 10.9 mm thick and 47 mm lug to lug, and it weighs just 60 g including the strap and buckle, which makes it unusually light for a diver. The bezel insert is matte blue ceramic, the dial is lumed with a fumé Super-LumiNova, and a Miyota 9015 runs it with no date. It comes on a sailcloth strap, and the first run was 100 numbered pieces at $995.
