Roger Dubuis Excalibur Titanium Monotourbillon

Roger Dubuis has specialised in skeletonised tourbillons since its RD03 of 2003, and the Excalibur Titanium Monotourbillon, shown at Watches and Wonders 2024, is a quieter version of the style in Grade 5 titanium, all metallic greys. The Excalibur case has its notched bezel and triple lugs, but at 42 mm across, 12.62 mm thick and rated to 100 m it is modest by the brand's standards. The hand-wound RD512SQ is openworked into a star of bridges radiating from the barrel, with a flying tourbillon at 7 o'clock whose 63-part cage is titanium below and polished cobalt chrome above, forming the Celtic cross that marks a Roger Dubuis tourbillon. It beats at 3 Hz, runs 72 hours and is finished to the Poinçon de Genève. It comes on an integrated titanium bracelet with short articulated links, limited to 28 pieces, at $167,500.
