AAD The RippL

AAD is a British brand, and the RippL is a limited release of 128 watches, 32 individually numbered pieces in each of four dial colours: Imperial Velvet, Electric Azure, Verde Hydra and Artisan Gold. The dial is a concentric guilloché, fine engraved rings spreading from the centre like ripples on still water, with minimal hands and luminous accents on the markers. The case is titanium throughout, 40 mm across, 48 mm lug to lug and 10 mm thick, with sharply faceted lugs and machined grooves traced along its profile. Sapphire covers the front and an exhibition back, which shows the Hangzhou 5000A automatic. It comes on an FKM rubber strap with a titanium buckle, with a two-year warranty and three years of complimentary movement service, at $875 on pre-order.
