ChronoAstra Custom Starmap

ChronoAstra, a Dutch brand, makes every Starmap a one-off: it recreates the night sky over a place, date and time the buyer chooses, a birth or a first meeting, from NASA star and constellation data, and pad-prints it onto a real aventurine dial from a mould made for that single watch, a method normally reserved for runs of hundreds. The stars are printed in BGW9 Super-LumiNova, so they glow blue at night. Dials come in Deep Space Black or Cosmic Blue aventurine, or an ultra-matte Musou black. The case is Grade 5 titanium with a ten-sided bezel, 40 or 34 mm across, sandblasted, brushed and hand-polished, about 9.95 mm thick in the automatic version, under flat sapphire. The automatic runs a no-date Miyota 9039 with 42 hours of reserve behind a sapphire back, and a slimmer Swiss quartz version has a solid titanium back.
