Botta CLAVIUS Aureus (Tri-Titanium)

Botta is a German design brand, and the Clavius is its most unusual watch: the dial is almost entirely covered, so you read the time from the gleaming gold-plated tips of the hands, while the seconds hand moves in rhythmic jumps rather than sweeping. The Aureus is a limited edition of 25 with gold-toned accents. Its case is Botta's Tri-Titanium, 44 mm across but only 34.6 mm lug to lug and 9.5 mm thick, and the head weighs 42 g, which makes a large watch feel very light. It has a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and 50 m of water resistance, with a gold-plated Swiss automatic movement inside. It comes on leather, with rubber, steel-link and Milanese straps as options, at EUR 2,650.
