Bremont Terra Nova Dual-Time Tourbillon
Bremont unveiled the Terra Nova Dual-Time Tourbillon at Watches and Wonders in 2024 as the top of its catalogue, built around a tourbillon module from the Swiss-based French watchmaker Olivier Mory and hand-assembled at Bremont's workshop in Henley-on-Thames. The second time zone is read from a three-dimensional globe on the dial, marked with meridian lines that show night and day, an idea aBlogtoWatch traces to the Geosphere that Bremont's CEO Davide Cerrato conceived at Montblanc. Below it is a large open tourbillon under a traditional bridge. The case is black DLC over Grade 5 titanium, 42.5 mm across and 48.8 mm lug to lug, rated to 100 m. The hand-wound 9130 calibre runs for 100 hours and is rated to minus 3 to plus 7 seconds a day, and it shows through a sapphire caseback. It is limited to 30 pieces, made to order, at $31,600.
