Citizen xC Hikari Collection (ES9497-96A)

The xC line is Citizen's women's collection for the Japanese market, and the ES9497-96A belongs to its Hikari collection. The case and bracelet are Super Titanium, Citizen's titanium with its Duratect surface hardening, which Citizen says is 40 percent lighter than stainless steel with more than five times the surface hardness, here finished in Duratect Sakura Pink. The case is 27 mm across and 8.2 mm thick, over a pearl white dial with pink accents and a sapphire crystal. Inside is the H060 Eco-Drive, which charges from any light and runs about three years on a full charge in power-save mode. It sets itself by radio signal in Japan, China, Europe and the US, and adds a perpetual calendar, world time across 24 zones, and Citizen's Perfex system, which resists magnetism and corrects the hands after a knock.
