Grand Seiko Heritage 9F Quartz (SBGV233, Titanium)

The SBGV233 is a 2017 Heritage Collection Grand Seiko in high-intensity titanium, with a blue dial and the 9F82, Grand Seiko's in-house quartz, rated to plus or minus 10 seconds a year and, unusually for quartz, adjustable by a watchmaker. It is a three-hander with a date, and the later 9F85 is essentially the same movement with an independently settable hour hand. The case is 40 mm across, 46.8 mm lug to lug and 10 mm thick, rated to 100 m, polished on the sides, bevel and bezel and brushed between, and the whole watch weighs 85 g. Two Broke Watch Snobs, reviewing an owned example, found it sat well even on a 6.5-inch wrist, and noted that the bracelet uses pin-and-collar links rather than screws and that the titanium clasp picks up scratches where titanium rubs titanium. It has left the Grand Seiko lineup, so it is a watch to find used.
