Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive Diver 200m "Ushio" (SLGA023)

The SLGA023 is Grand Seiko's Spring Drive diver in blue, following a black version of the same ushio dial in 2022. The dial pattern depicts the undulating waves where the Kuroshio and the nutrient-rich Oyashio currents meet off Japan, one of the most diverse ocean regions in the world. The case is high-intensity titanium, 43.8 mm across, 13.8 mm thick and 51.5 mm lug to lug, rated to 200 m and built to ISO diver's standards, with a unidirectional bezel carrying a blue ceramic insert. LumiBrite covers the hands, indexes and bezel. Inside is the 9RA5, which runs about 120 hours to plus or minus 10 seconds a month and is 0.8 mm thinner than the older 9R65, with its power-reserve indicator placed on the dial for safety during a dive. The titanium bracelet has a three-fold clasp with a secure lock and a diver's extension.
