Holthinrichs Signature LAB Series 1.S (titanium)

The LAB Series 1.S marks the return of the small-seconds dial to Holthinrichs, the Dutch brand whose cases are 3D-printed in Grade 5 titanium by selective laser melting, then milled and finished by hand. Printing is what makes the very thin lugs possible, and the case is shaped for comfort, with a curved caseback and lugs that wrap the wrist. The dial is domed from a solid piece of metal, milled and laser-etched in layers, and given a pale green copper-oxide patina by hand, so no two come out alike. The case is 38.5 mm across, 9.85 mm thick and 46 mm lug to lug, and a Sellita SW360 automatic runs it with 56 hours of reserve. It is limited to 100 pieces at EUR 5,900 before VAT.
