Jacob & Co Epic X Ceramic (White)

Jacob & Co. launched the Epic X line in 2016, and the Epic X Ceramic merges two of its generations, taking the deeply openworked bridges of the Epic X Skeleton and the smooth case and bracelet of the Epic X Bridges. This reference, EX115.95.AD.AA.ABRUA, is the white version with blue accents: a white ceramic case with aluminium parts and a blue anodised crown, 44 mm across and 13.3 mm thick, with sapphire front and back and 50 m of water resistance. Jacob & Co. points to ceramic's scratch resistance and to its comfort on the wrist in any weather. The hand-wound JCAM02 is a 158-part skeleton movement with blue PVD bridges, running at 4 Hz with 48 hours of reserve and showing only hours and minutes on skeletonised hands with lumed tips. It lists at $46,300 on a honeycomb rubber strap with a titanium buckle, and each piece is individually numbered. The black ceramic version is rated to 100 m and limited to 101 pieces.
