Mido Multifort TV Big Date (Titanium)

The first TV-shaped Mido appeared in 1973, and the brand revived the shape in 2023 as the Multifort TV Big Date, which has since come in steel and in black and rose gold PVD. This 2025 version is the first in titanium, case and bracelet both. The rounded rectangular case measures 39.2 by 40 mm, 11.5 mm thick and 46.85 mm lug to lug, with a wide vertically brushed bezel, crown guards and a screw-down crown for 100 m of water resistance. The big date at noon uses two discs, white numerals on black, nearly three times the size of an ordinary date, set on a grey gradient dial with Mido's horizontal grooves. Inside is the Caliber 80, Swatch Group's Powermatic 80 on an ETA C07.651 base, with a Nivachron balance spring and 80 hours of reserve, seen through a display caseback. The titanium bracelet has a folding clasp and quick-release pins. It lists at $1,580 in the US.
