Rado True Square Automatic Open Heart

Rado launched the True Square Open Heart in 2020 as its first square watch with an injected monobloc case in high-tech ceramic, and offered it from the start in black, white and plasma grey. This black reference sets twelve diamonds into the dial, 0.096 carat in all, and edges the cut-outs with yellow gold-coloured bevels to match yellow gold-coloured hands treated with white Super-LumiNova. Case and crown are polished black ceramic, 38 mm across and 9.7 mm thick, on a black ceramic bracelet with a titanium three-fold clasp, and the whole watch weighs 118 g. Luxuo noted at launch that Rado chose a titanium caseback to save weight; here it is PVD-coated and fitted with a sapphire window. The open heart shows the R734 automatic, which has an antimagnetic Nivachron hairspring and 80 hours of reserve. It lists at $3,600.
