Rado True Square Automatic Skeleton (yellow)

This True Square Skeleton arrived in summer 2024 in polished yellow high-tech ceramic. Rado adds the pigment to the zirconium oxide powder before moulding, so the colour is in the material rather than a coating. The monobloc case is 38 mm across, 9.7 mm thick and 44.2 mm long, and where the 2023 launch models wore ceramic bracelets, this one comes on a yellow rubber strap with a stainless steel clasp and weighs 86 g. Behind the two-level skeleton dial and its rhodium-toned, lumed hands sits the R808 automatic, with a Nivachron hairspring and 80 hours of reserve. Oracle of Time, reviewing the blue version on rubber, found the strap made the watch far easier to wear every day, but would have liked a matte finish instead of the high gloss and more than 50 m of water resistance. It lists at $2,800.
