Vancouver Watch Co Bronze Blood & Thunder
Vancouver Watch Co is a Canadian microbrand, and the Bronze Blood & Thunder is a solid bronze diver for $299, which is rare: the case and the 120-click bezel are both machined CuSn8 marine bronze rather than bronze trim on steel, so the whole watch will darken and patina as it ages, and Vancouver warns that some may arrive with patina already started. The dial is a sandwich construction with applied markers on a white, glittering surface meant to look like sunlit water, with plenty of lume on the dial and the bezel. The case is 43 mm across and 13.5 mm thick with drilled lugs and an 8 mm screw-down crown, and the movement is a Miyota 9015. It comes on Crazy Horse leather with a matching bronze buckle.
