Vostok Amphibia 1967 Bronze
The first Amphibia was made in 1967 at Vostok's Chistopol factory for the Soviet Navy, and this bronze edition marked its 50th anniversary and the factory's 75th, drawn from old sketches. The barrel-shaped case is CuSn8 bronze, 42 mm across, 15 mm thick and 50 mm lug to lug, rated to 200 m, and it keeps the original crown, the caseback held by a nut, the historical hands and the dial indexes. The dark brown sandwich dial has a rock texture, with Super-LumiNova on the hands, indexes and the start marker of the unidirectional bezel, under a domed anti-reflective sapphire. Inside is the Vostok 2415 automatic, with 31 hours of reserve. The caseback is steel and engraved with a unique serial number, and it came on a leather strap with a bronze buckle. The edition of 300 is sold out.
