Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive 5 Days Atera Blue SLGA025

The SLGA025's dial takes its colour from the Atera Valley in Nagano Prefecture, where Grand Seiko makes its Spring Drive watches, and the clear blue-green water of the Atera River that runs through it. Under the dial is Caliber 9RA2, which runs for about 120 hours from a full wind and is rated to plus or minus 10 seconds a month. To keep the case slimmer, Grand Seiko moved the power-reserve indicator to the movement side, where it shows through the see-through caseback. The case and bracelet are high-intensity titanium, which Grand Seiko says is 30 percent lighter than steel, and the case is 40 mm across, 47.9 mm lug to lug and 11.8 mm thick, under a dual-curved sapphire crystal. It is rated to 100 m.
