Seiko Prospex LX Line SNR031

Seiko launched the Prospex LX line at Baselworld 2019, developed with Ken Okuyama Design, whose founder led the Enzo Ferrari's design at Pininfarina, and the SNR031 (SBDB021 in Japan) was its black diver. The titanium case and bezel wear a black hard coating, which aBlogtoWatch identifies as DLC, with the flat surfaces Zaratsu-polished, and the bezel's ceramic insert has black-on-black markings that aBlogtoWatch found stealthy but harder to read. Inside is the 5R65 Spring Drive, accurate to about a second a day, with a date, a power-reserve indicator and 72 hours of reserve. The 44.8 mm case is rated to 300 m for saturation diving without a helium valve, the head weighs 110 g, and aBlogtoWatch found the short, wrapping lugs make it wear comfortably. Seiko sold it only on a silicone strap, and it has since gone from Seiko's websites, where the natural titanium SNR029 is still listed, so it is now a watch to find used.
