Laventure Sous-Marine II Bronze
Laventure is a Neuchâtel independent, and the Sous-Marine II takes its inspiration from the underwater explorations of the 1960s. This version is CuSn8 bronze, case and crown, polished and satin-finished, 40.5 mm across and 48.8 mm lug to lug, and it will darken with wear. The dial is a cream sandwich design with no date, under a domed Plexiglas Superdome crystal of the kind the period watches used. Inside is the Laventure Caliber 2, developed with Jean-François Mojon's Chronode, with 60 hours of reserve, visible through a stainless steel caseback with a sapphire window, so it is not nickel-free. It is rated to 200 m. It has sold out, and Laventure does not remake sold-out models.

Is the Laventure Sous-Marine II Bronze nickel-free?
No. The caseback is steel, and steel carries nickel, so the guide does not list it as nickel-free.
What is the case of the Laventure Sous-Marine II Bronze made of?
The case is cusn8 marine bronze. That is confirmed against the maker's specification. The caseback is steel, not titanium.
What size is the Laventure Sous-Marine II Bronze?
The case is 40.5 mm across, 10.2 mm thick and 48.8 mm from lug to lug. It is water resistant to 200 m.
How much does the Laventure Sous-Marine II Bronze cost, and is it available?
It is no longer made, so the only way to buy one is used.
