Unimatic Modello Uno U1S-T-MP

Unimatic is a small Italian brand of minimalist divers, and the U1S-T-MP is one of the pair, with the smaller U2S-T-MP, that brought titanium to its Swiss Made lines, each limited to 500 and individually numbered on the caseback. The sandblasted titanium case is 41.5 mm across, 11.25 mm thick and 49 mm lug to lug, and Unimatic puts it at 62 g, about 45 percent lighter than its steel equivalent. It is rated to 300 m, tested individually, with a 2 mm screwed caseback and an 8 mm crown. The blu notte dial and aluminium insert carry white Super-LumiNova BGW09, read by phantom ladder hands and a reverse lollipop seconds, under a double-domed sapphire that aBlogtoWatch found less glary than the U2S's. Inside is the Sellita SW200-1 with 38 hours of reserve. It came on a blue TPU strap with a spare seatbelt NATO, and the edition has since sold out, so Unimatic now files it in its archive.
