Rado True Round Thinline Les Couleurs Le Corbusier (greyed English green 32041)
In 2019 Rado made nine True Thinline watches in colours from Le Corbusier's Architectural Polychromy, each limited to 999 pieces, and this one is slightly greyed English green, shade 32041 from his 1931 palette. Rado describes its English greens as quiet and cool with a hint of blue, and here the shade covers the case, the dial and the ceramic bracelet. The case is a high-tech ceramic monobloc 39 mm across and just 5 mm thick, and the whole watch weighs 80 g. The quartz movement, Rado's R420, drives the hours and minutes only; Time+Tide noted at launch that there is no seconds hand and that the titanium caseback displays all 63 colours of the palette. The bracelet closes on a titanium clasp and the watch is rated to 30 m. Rado now lists the same reference as a True Round Thinline, at $2,400.
