Timex Giorgio Galli S2Ti

Giorgio Galli has been Timex's design director for more than two decades, and the S2Ti is the last watch in Galli's S series, limited to 500 pieces. It is a Swiss-made, Grade 2 titanium watch with a forged carbon mid-case, and the details are the kind Timex rarely spends money on: a domed sapphire crystal that runs edge to edge and wraps over the bezel, and a titanium bracelet with Timex's I-Size system, which resizes without tools. Inside is a Sellita SW200-1 with 41 hours of reserve and a black ion-plated rotor, visible through a sapphire caseback. The case is 38 mm across and 12 mm thick, and the watch weighs 85 g on its bracelet. It costs $1,950, which is a lot for a Timex and not much for a limited Swiss titanium watch with a carbon case band.
