RZE Resolute

The Resolute was RZE's 40.5 mm field watch in this form: a sand-textured dial with applied indexes, no date window, and a canvas strap as the only option. RZE has since carried the name on to other versions (the Resolute Pro, the Stratos, the Resolute 36 and the Type A pilot), and this configuration has dropped out of its catalogue, so it is now a watch to find used. The case is solid titanium under RZE's UltraHex coating, which the brand rates at up to about 1,200 HV, with a screw-down crown and a screw-down titanium caseback sealed by a Viton gasket. It is 11.5 mm thick and 46 mm lug to lug, weighs 65 g on its strap, and runs on Seiko's NH35A. RZE does not print a grade on its own page, and hands-on reviews report Grade 2.
