RZE Urbanist Solar

The Urbanist was RZE's solar-powered field watch, launched in 2024 in five colourways and since dropped from the brand's lineup, so it is now a watch to find used. Like every RZE, it is brushed titanium, here Grade 2 under the brand's UltraHex coating, which The Calibrated Wrist reported takes the surface to about 1,200 HV, with a DLC-coated screw-down crown and caseback for 100 m of water resistance. It is small by current standards: 36 mm across, 42 mm lug to lug and 11 mm thick including the bevelled sapphire crystal. The movement is a light-charged Miyota quartz, which the review says runs four months on a full charge. The Calibrated Wrist took one hiking in Quebec's Upper Laurentians and found the 31 g watch all but vanished on the wrist, while the embossed white numerals and outlined hands stood out clearly against the sand-textured dial.
