Unimatic Modello Due U2S-T-W

The U2S-T-W was a 150-piece edition of the Modello Due, Unimatic's slim field watch made in Italy, and it has sold out and passed into the brand's archive, so it is now a watch to find used. The sandblasted titanium case is 38 mm across, with a screwed 1.8 mm caseback engraved "Caccia e Pesca" and the watch's number, an 8 mm crown and 300 m of water resistance, each case tested individually. The Verde Safari dial, which Gear Patrol described as khaki, has a date at 6 and Super-LumiNova GL in an old-radium tone on the ladder hands and the tip of the reverse lollipop seconds, under a 2.7 mm double-domed sapphire. A Sellita SW200-1 runs it, with 38 hours of reserve and hacking seconds. Gear Patrol singled out the strap at launch, a beige two-piece leather made from elk rather than cowhide, box-stitched and fitted with signed titanium hardware.
