Casio MR-G MRG-B2100R Titanium

The octagonal 2100 series, the G-Shock family collectors call the CasiOak, got the full MR-G treatment in 2024 on a titanium bracelet, and the MRG-B2100R-2A is the 2025 version on a strap. Its colours come from the blue ink of Zen ink-wash painting: the dial, patterned after kigumi wood joinery, has a metallic blue finish, and small corner pieces of the 27-part case are plated blue. The case is Ti64 titanium under black DLC, and the front bezel is Cobarion, a cobalt-chrome alloy that aBlogtoWatch reports is four times harder than pure titanium, also coated black. It measures 44.4 mm across, 13.6 mm thick and 49.5 mm lug to lug, which aBlogtoWatch, reviewing the bracelet version, called slim by G-Shock standards. The Dura Soft fluoro-rubber strap closes with a black DLC titanium clasp and brings the weight down to 110 g, 12 g less than the bracelet models. Module 5718 is solar-powered and sets itself by radio or Bluetooth.
