Casio Oceanus Cachalot OCW-P2000-1A

Cachalot is French for sperm whale and the name of Oceanus's sporty line, and the OCW-P2000 of June 2020 was the first Oceanus built as a full ISO 200 m dive watch. Casio assembles it on the Premium Production Line at its Yamagata factory. The case and bezel are titanium with a titanium carbide surface treatment, the caseback is held by eight screws and the crown screws down. Elapsed dive time can be read off the unidirectional bezel ring, or the watch can be switched to a dive mode in which the hands themselves time the dive, and the Bluetooth app records each dive's duration and location. It runs on Tough Solar, sets itself by Multi-Band 6 radio or from the phone, and keeps world time. The case measures 48.5 mm across, 51.8 mm long and 15.9 mm thick, and on its titanium bracelet, whose clasp extends to fit over a wetsuit, it weighs 127 g.
