IWC Big Pilot's Watch 43 Top Gun Woodland

IWC's Watches and Wonders theme in 2022 was the colours of Top Gun, and the Woodland is the green one, inspired by the flight suits of Top Gun pilots and applied here to the Big Pilot's Watch 43, the smaller, simpler Big Pilot. The case is zirconium oxide mixed with other metallic oxides to get its dark matte green, 43.8 mm across and 13.9 mm thick, with a Ceratanium screw-in crown and caseback, and it is rated to 100 m. The dial is the same matte green, time-only with oversized hands, markers and tracks, all luminous. As on any IWC pilot's watch, the sapphire is secured against drops in air pressure and a soft-iron inner case shields the movement from magnetism. Inside is the 82100 automatic with 60 hours of reserve. It comes on green rubber with a textile inlay and a Ceratanium buckle, and IWC made it at 500 a year.
