Bremont Altitude MB Meteor Felix the Cat

Felix the Cat has flown on US Navy squadron insignia since the early days of naval aviation, and still does for VFA-31, the Tomcatters, so Bremont made him the subject of this Altitude MB Meteor, limited to 500. He runs off with the numeral 6 on the dial, a joke on the pilots' phrase watch your six. The MB watches take their cue from Martin-Baker ejection seats, hence the yellow accents and the looped pull-handle counterweight on the seconds hand. The case is Bremont's three-part Trip-Tick construction in Grade 2 titanium, finished in black DLC with a knurled barrel, 42 mm across, 12.23 mm thick and 49.3 mm lug to lug, with a Roto-Click inner bezel turned by the crown at 4. The BB14-AH, based on La Joux-Perret's G100, runs 68 hours in a rubber shock mount inside a soft-iron anti-magnetic ring, and shows through a caseback decorated with Felix. It lists at $6,850 on the DLC titanium bracelet.
