Timex Expedition Pioneer Titanium Automatic GMT

The Expedition Pioneer GMT is Timex's titanium travel watch, and it carries a working GMT for well under a thousand dollars. Seiko's NH34 drives a separate 24-hour hand, in yellow here against a sand-blasted black metal dial, and a bidirectional 24-hour bezel lets you read a third zone. The case and bracelet are Grade 2 titanium, 41 mm across, 13.5 mm thick and 48 mm lug to lug, and the watch weighs 78.6 g. It has a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a date at 3 o'clock, 200 m of water resistance and an exhibition caseback, engraved All Titanium, through which the NH34A is visible. It comes on silicone, fabric or the titanium bracelet, and the bracelet version lists at $729.
