Panerai Submersible Bronzo Blu Abisso

Panerai made bronze dive watches before they were fashionable, starting with the 47 mm Bronzo in 2011, and the PAM01074 of 2021 shrank the idea to 42 mm, which SJX called small by Panerai standards and far more wearable every day. The case and bezel are bronze and will turn with wear towards verdigris, the blue-green patina, so the caseback is titanium, with a window onto the movement, to keep bronze off the skin. The blue dial uses beige lume, a faux patina SJX thought some would find divisive. Inside is the P.900, Panerai's slimmer in-house automatic with three days of reserve and a date. It is 14.37 mm thick and rated to 300 m, comes on suede and a blue rubber strap, and was made at up to 1,000 a year for Panerai boutiques only.
