Zelos Hammerhead 43 Field Bronze

The Hammerhead is Zelos's cushion-cased watch, the old dive-watch shape given an angular, faceted facelift, and the Hammerhead 43 Field is the version without a dive bezel, here in CuSn8 bronze that will darken with wear. Despite the chunky look and 300 m of water resistance it is only 13 mm thick, and Zelos keeps the lug-to-lug short so it sits well on most wrists. The bronze case comes with three dials, Vesper, Bedrock and a mosaic mother-of-pearl, under a sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating. Seiko's NH38, the no-date version of the NH35, runs it. It is sold on a strap, with a matching bronze bracelet available separately, at $499.
