Monovant Rheon Bronze

Monovant is a young Greek brand whose Rheon collection draws on Greek culture and mythology, and the Rheon Bronze moves its tonneau-like case from steel to marine-grade aluminium bronze, which ages to a warm gold and brown rather than green verdigris. The case is 40 mm across, 47 mm lug to lug and 9.6 mm thick, semi-polished, with a screw-down crown and 50 m of water resistance. The fine-grain fumé dial, in brown or blue, has carved indexes at 12, 3, 6 and 9 and sixty bronze accents for the minutes that make the opening read as round, with rose gold hands filled with Super-LumiNova and no logo at all. The Grade 5 titanium caseback is engraved with an owl holding an olive branch, which Monochrome reads as Athena's. Inside is the Sellita SW200-1B with 42 hours of reserve. Each colour was limited to 50 and both have sold out.
