The Titanium
Field Guide

The largest independent reference for titanium watches. Every current-production titanium model is catalogued and verified against its maker, with original research and plain-language guides to the metal itself. Ceramic, bronze, carbon, tantalum and brass are tracked alongside it, for the cases worth choosing over steel.

Titanium gets sold on the word titanium and documented as though the alloy were a detail: 59% of the 1,600 titanium references catalogued here carry no grade at all on the maker's own specification page. This is the most complete catalog of the titanium watches you can actually buy, and an independent record of what makers do and do not publish, every entry sourced, dated and confidence-graded, with the same data feeding original research anyone is free to cite. References a maker has retired stay in the catalog instead of disappearing from it, since those are the ones people go hunting for secondhand. Ceramic, bronze, carbon, tantalum and brass are held to the same standard, so a titanium case can be weighed against the real alternatives.

Verified inclusion

A watch enters only when its CASE BODY is one of the unusual materials this guide tracks, verified on the maker's own spec page: titanium, solid ceramic, a ceramized-titanium composite, a bronze alloy, a solid brass alloy, a carbon case shell (forged carbon, carbon fibre, Carbotech, Carbonium), or tantalum. A coating, a carbon dial, or a bezel insert on steel does not qualify, and a steel-cased watch is out of scope by design.

Sourced and dated

Every entry cites a source and the date it was checked, and carries a confidence level. Inferred specs stay medium, never dressed up as fact.

Built to compare

Filter and sort on what separates these watches: material, colour, grade, alloy or ceramic type, weight, and movement. Material leads, since it is the first choice. The full verification process is documented in the network methodology.
